Students of Aikido Yoshinkai Ottawa practice at the Takahashi Dojo, located at 5 Melrose Avenue in the Hintonburg neighbourhood. The Takahashi Dojo opened its doors over fifty years ago, and remains one of the original destinations for the study of Judo and other traditional Japanese martial arts in Ottawa. Yoshinkan Aikido has been taught at the Takahashi Dojo for over 25 years. The dojo provides two practice areas; including, a large matted floor for the study of both Aikido and Judo. The dojo also provides separate change rooms with showers for both men and women. Visitors are welcome during class hours. Street parking is available.
